10-Days Eco/Adventure Tours:

Starting Date:    10th March 2000

This tour commences at  Kokrobite (Beach and Ethnic Village), is proceeded by a trip to Aburi Botanical Gardens followed by a countryside tour with overnight stops in various ethnic villages.  Tourists will experience  interaction with local farmers and witness local farming practices while enjoying the local foods (free from chemicals).  The touring group will then be taken to Boti Waterfalls before returning to  Kokrobite.  On the ninth day the tour will proceed to the Arts Center to allow members of the tour to make purchases from a wide variety of handmade crafts, textiles and authentic African art.  The tour will conclude on the tenth day with a period of relaxation at  Big Milly’s Backyard in Kokrobite.

Camping at the Village on the Lake in Nzulezu (the amazing village where life goes on in the center of Lake Tadane, just 90km west of Takoradi.  In this scenic setting, the houses are built on stilts and the people enjoy a traditional village life that has adapted to watery conditions.  The touring group will walk through the reeds at the edge of the lake and travel to the village in a dugout canoe).  Come and experience life on the lake and how local people live in harmony with nature.

This tour starts with a Kokrobite countryside tour to the Big Tree and an overnight stay at Bakaano Camp in Narkwa (Sea at Lagoon side).  At Bakaano the group will enjoy a canoe trip on the lagoon, relaxation and meditation at a clean natural bay lined up with coconut forests; then on to Kakum National Park, commonly referred to as “Kakum”, a patchwork of rainforest. (Ghana is one of the few countries that still have rainforests.)  Kakum offers real jungle adventure with a canopy walkway and an abundance of wild life.  A brief lunch stop with the crocodiles at Hans Cottage, where the touring group will partake of an original African meal while viewing a crocodile pond in a setting filled a variety of striking birds in their natural habitat.

14-Days Eco/Adventure Tours:

 Starting Date:    26 July 2000

This tourist package offers camping at Kintampo along with trips to various ethnic villages en rout to the famous Monkey Village where monkeys and humans live hand-in-hand. Here the group will come across the spectacular occurrence where between the two villages of Boabeng and Fiema stands a thick forest where many friendly monkeys sleep after strolling the streets of the village.  Four different species of monkeys, including thousands of the white and black furred Colobus, mix freely with people and killing or harming any of these monkeys is strictly prohibited.  A visit to the Fuller Waterfalls, where the River Oyoko just after starting its long and winding journey near Kintampo to the Black Volta up north, fiercely and magnificently plunges into the two tier rock pile and mysteriously disappears to resurface far from the original site will conclude this spectacular and awe-inspiring trip.

14 Days Safari Tours

Starting Date:   26 August 2000

Safari tours at the Mole National Park (the largest national park in Ghana; it offers savannah and riverine forest landscapes with more than 90 mammal species: including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and antelopes along with approximately 300 various species of birds).  A trip to the Bui National Park (which is noted for its hippopotamus population), will conclude this spectacular touring package.
